  32. Indeed.  How many people have serial port hardware capable of >115200bps?
  33. It would be somewhat wasteful to try and connect a T1 to the existing
  34. PC serial port.  Whilst I accept that things like USB will change this,
  35. internals will gradually become the better buy for people who want to
  36. plug in a modem and let the manufacturer supplied Win 95 drivers do the
  37. work.  Also note that USB will make many of those pretty status lights
  38. on modems obsolete.
