- Indeed. How many people have serial port hardware capable of >115200bps?
- It would be somewhat wasteful to try and connect a T1 to the existing
- PC serial port. Whilst I accept that things like USB will change this,
- internals will gradually become the better buy for people who want to
- plug in a modem and let the manufacturer supplied Win 95 drivers do the
- work. Also note that USB will make many of those pretty status lights
- on modems obsolete.
